Todd Margolis, President – I want to give you a little insight as to why I created this company. I believe that why this company is here and where we are going is much more important than the minor details of my life. Enjoy!
I spent five years working in the mortgage industry. I started as a loan consultant and then became a wholesale account executive for Saxon Mortgage, a publicly traded mortgage lender. I was top ten in the country for the three and a half years that I worked for Saxon. During this time, I was first exposed to the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), by R. Nelson Nash, and became a practitioner of the Infinite Banking Concept. Three years later, as my knowledge grew around IBC, I starting looking at why people had not heard about this concept and why it was not being used by most Americans. I quickly realized that the financial community was asleep to this fantastic concept, and that most of the financial advisors and insurance agents didn’t understand the true power of the products they possessed. This presented a great opportunity.
When you work on the wholesale side of any business you have very little contact with the end user. Your job is very transactional. One deal to the next for the brokers you call on. But I was looking for something different. I wanted to do something where I could help people and create deep, meaningful relationships that would last a lifetime. The Infinite Banking Concept was the perfect fit. As with everything else I’ve done in life – i.e. Maryland State Wrestling Champion, World Class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competitor, and Top Account Executive – I know that if you want to be the best, you have to train with the best, and so I embarked on a journey to learn from the best Infinite Banking practitioners in the country. This led me to Nelson Nash, the creator of the Infinite Banking Concept. I have had the privilege of attending many of Nelson’s seminars and his wisdom is immeasurable.
Through Nelson’s seminars, I was blessed to meet Ray Poteet, a student and practitioner of IBC, who is considered to be the pre-eminent authority (outside of Nelson) on the Infinite Banking process and application. If Nelson built the airplane, Ray turned it into a Stealth Fighter Jet. I then had the biggest brake in my short career. Ray Poteet began mentoring me. His first lesson was a lesson that I will pass on to all potential clients. "READ NELSON’S BOOK! And then read it again! All of the answers are in the book!" And so after several months of having every concept in the book proven over and over to me, I decided that I would dedicate my life to spreading this wonderful concept to as many people as I possibly could. So this company was created to (quoting Nelson Nash), “Push back the frontiers of ignorance” and “To free people from the bonds of financial slavery”.
